Owned for the last 10 years, started as a track car and evolved into the car it is now – raced in BARC Quaife Modified Saloon championship & won its last race (beating the infamous Rod Birley) also a 2nd place at the same meeting on Brands Hatch Indy.
Lots of weight still to lose from the car ie: the glass, window mechs, central locking etc weighs in at 1240 with driver.
The original engine blew on 1 of the 1st trackdays I did, learnt the hard way about the Evo sump/pick ups/Grp N restrictor valve so a new low mileage engine (80k) engine was sourced and collected from CRMTech and this then had the shells replaced, ARP bolted etc & has since done no more than 3k miles, did 2-3 track days a year max of Brands Hatch indy circuit and then 1 season of racing where we did 8 x 15 min races – starts on the button 1st time every time.
The car will also come with a set of Team Dynamics Pro Race 1.2 17×9 ET 20 wheels with Dunlop slicks.
Car started in my possession 10 years ago as a road car, then track car & now race car so isn’t mint & has some small areas of lacquer peel and a patch of bubbly paint/surface rust on drivers rear arch so could do with a blow over to tidy it it up.. Have pictures of the car from day 1 to show the condition it started in.
