We now have confirmed information which enables you to plan your season with the CMMC Southern. Entries are now open for the following events for registered CMMC Southern competitors:
Cadwell Park July 26 (CMMC Centre CMMC entry form)
Snetterton August 8 (CMMC Southern entry form: cmmcs_entry_form)
Brands Hatch GP August 29/30* (same form as Snetterton cmmcs_entry_form)
Brands Hatch Indy September 26/27 (same form as Snetterton cmmcs_entry_form)
Lydden Hill November 7, not yet confirmed, no entries accepted yet.
Please note that with the Brands Hatch GP* event priority will go to drivers who have competed at either of our races at Cadwell Park or Snetterton this year. With regards to the Lydden meeting, it is very likely that this will now be on November 7th and if restrictions are relaxed there will be a fireworks display after the racing. An entry form will be available soon.
For the foreseeable future things are going to be different in the build up and running of a race meeting. Firstly, race entries MUST be completed in full, along with the correct payment and sent to Kelly Dann for Cadwell Park, Snetterton and Brands GP. Brands Indy and Lydden will be Krissy (for Tin Tops) and Kelly (for super saloons and intermarque). Secondly, we can NO longer accept late entries, as declaration forms need to be filled in several days prior to an event (and then sent to the organising club). Likewise we cannot take cash payments “on the day” for a following meeting.
Currently there will be no formal scrutineering at an event. Instead there will be self-declaration forms, which must be fully completed and submitted prior to an event. However, there will be “visual” checks carried out by scrutineers during the day. Anything untoward will be noted and dealt with appropriately. You may receive a text message or phone call, so please make sure your phone is fully charged and switched on. Please also make sure your vehicle fully complies with the latest Motorsport UK and appropriate CMMCS series regulations. Selected vehicles may still be taken to parc fermé.
Likewise there will no signing-on at the circuit. Signing on will be via the Motorsport UK self-declaration form. However, drivers must still bring their licence and membership card/personal documentation with them. We are waiting for confirmation of ticket allocation, but expect it to be the same as before. We are being advised to keep team personnel to a minimum, and it is likely that some events will be “behind closed doors” (no spectators). This may change, but only in line with government advice.
Great to be back racing. We are looking forward to seeing you.
