Jeremy Sutton – CMMCS in 2021

No.4 in our series of drivers with the CMMCS in 2021

2020 super-rookie Jeremy Sutton will campaign his improved yellow No. 23 Ford Sierra 2-litre Cosworth in this year’s Classic & Modern Motorsport Club’s Southern series.

The car is a 1987 3-door Sierra Cosworth built from a new 909 Motorsport Shell with a motorsport spec. Has coil over suspension, compression struts with front mounted adjustable anti-roll bar, rose jointed suspension, AP Racing brakes, gearbox with a Glebe dog kit and 7.5 ZF plated limited slip differential.

The car is powered by a new race spec YB Cosworth engine built by Hart Power using a modified 200 block, ported and flowed head, custom valves and cams, lightweight crank and pistons, custom intake and exhaust manifold, Borg Warner EFR turbo and Spec-R intercooler and radiator. The turbo raises output to 340-540bhp

” I did manage a few laps racing with the Supersaloons last year before the car overheated (paid-out for a Spec-R Intercooler and Rad now). Hopefully this year will be a little more successful.”
“My interests are generally car related. I’ve been collecting 80s cars for the last 10 years and became a car enthusiast since my dad bought a Moonstone Blue Sierra Cosworth in 1987.”
